Safety functions
|
An important aspect of functional safety is that the safety functions
are completely self-contained carried out by the safety modules without
the need for additional programming or measures.
|
|
The safety modules provide the following safety functions:
|
- SS0 / STO (Safe Stop Category 0)
- SS1 (Safe Stop Category 1)
- SS2 (Safe Stop Category 2)
|
- SOS (Safe Operating Stop)
- SLS (Safely Limited Speed)
- SDI (Safe Direction)
|
|
The SS0 / STO safety function is included as standard in the servo drives.
If only this is required, no additional safety modules are required.
